When they said "restore the 1933 Gothic Revival details but make it energy efficient," we knew we had our work cut out for us. Those stained glass windows? Now they're triple-glazed but look identical. Geothermal under the nave was wild to install.

Shaughnessy Family Estate

Clients wanted "modern but not cold." We spent weeks just understanding how they live before putting pen to paper. The result's this flowing space that feels different in every season.

Main Street Mixed-Use Development

Ground floor retail, offices above, and rooftop community garden. The neighborhood fought us initially - thought we'd ruin the character. Six months of meetings later, they were part of the design team. That's how it should be.

False Creek Co-Housing

Twelve families wanted to live together but separately - if that makes sense. Shared courtyard, individual units, communal workshop space. It's like a little village.

Granville Street Revitalization

Turned a car-heavy corridor into something people actually enjoy walking through. Trees, better lighting, wider sidewalks - the basics done really well.

Yaletown Restaurant Interior

Everything's reclaimed or salvaged. Bar top from old bowling alley, lights from a demolished factory. Chef wanted zero new materials - challenge accepted.

Strathcona Warehouse Lofts

1920s warehouse turned into artist studios and lofts. Kept all the industrial grit, added insulation and proper ventilation. Artists love the 16-foot ceilings.

Whistler Mountain Retreat

Completely off-grid but you'd never know it. Solar panels hidden on the roof, rainwater collection, the works. Client wanted to disappear into the mountains and still have hot showers - we made it happen.
